My heart absolutely bleeds for these people and family members that have lost their lives or a loved one in this horrific tragedy. My heart goes out to those involved.

I was at a trade show in Indianapolis this last week and it was a fire/rescue show. So we're talking tons of firefighters and emergency personnel. I can't remember which day it was but they announced a "national" moment of silence at 12 noon. Let me tell you, it was amazing to have 27,000 people in the RCA dome suddenly go completely silent. Then, in the middle of the silence, they started playing Amazing Grace on the bagpipes (one of my favorite tunes of all time). I have rarely experienced anything that profound and it actually brought tears to my eyes though I was lucky enough to not know anyone directly involved in this tragedy. Such a sad event but it goes to show you that when people put their minds to it, solidarity can be a powerful thing. Thinking of the entire nation being silent during that one minute had a strage effect on me...
